    • This upper age limit is only for 15% all india quota seats and the upper age limit for candidates seeking admission under seat in the control of participating states/universities/institution (85%)shall be as per their rules and regulation and there is no upper age limit in UPCPMT. so i am eligible for NEET But not eligible for 15% all india quota seats and can get admission only on 85% state level seats on the basis of state level merit.

  23. sir ,i have scored 502 in neet phase 1 ,,ur category odisha ,will i get any seat in the govt colleges of paticipating states..?please suggest clearly ??

  24. pl inform how many seats covered in tamil nadu under neetII scheme. And what is the expected mark to get seat in TN private medical college.

    • TN is not participating in NEET. You get only AIPMT quota through NEET. For private colleges, the cutoff is expected to go lower than otherwise say in the range of 350-400, can not say for sure as this is being done for the first time.

    • For govt college, about 20000 to 60000 per year.
For private colleges around 4.25 lakhs per year in Karnataka, for example
Fees could vary from about 3.5 lakhs to 10 lakhs a year

  25. s k Das,UR category, west bengal, scoring 502 in aipmt-1 2016 , may i get a chance in any govt mbbs college from all india quota of 15% .If some body infomrs me , i would be thankful for hole life and this would helf me to abstain from neet-2 2016 . I am waiting for reply.

    • Hello…
See brother 502 can’t fetch gov mbbs seat in NEET as your would be around 4000-5000
      However u vl b eligible for counseling…
I suggest just go for NEET2 u hv 2 months increase your marks near 570-600 marks then u can get a good college..

  26. now the NEET-2 is still in force in this year or not , if yes the allotment of seat in the Govt , private how many, if no in this year, we registered the NEET-2 , the fees has paid , now the Website opened for neet-2 reg , what relief to the students.

    • NEET2 is in force. I believe you have about 40000 seats through NEET, approx 8000-10000 seats in govt colleges, this is my guess (you have to see your domicile too). I do not think anybody will give you refund.

  27. Sir I have 535 marks from Allen answer key and 525 from aakash answer key can I get govt medical college in Rajasthan ….as I an from Rajasthan probably RNT MEDICAL COLLEGE ?

    • I think you will get Rajasthan govt college. BTW, Rajasthan is filling its state seats through NEET as well. I am not completely sure about specific medical college.

  28. Sir I am from Bihar and I want to give neet 2 so how the selection will be done as bcece is now merged under neet…….

    • Appear for NEET 2 and try to score maximum. Same NEET score will be used for your selection in state’s 85% seats.

    • Govt colleges too, so far these states are in NEET:

Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Manipur, Rajasthan, Odisha, Chandigarh and Bihar apart from Delhi and some others those were already in AIPMT or NEET.

  29. Sir
Will neet phase 2 is going to conduct on 24 July is also for the seats of government colleges of madhya Pradesh as well???

    • There are 15% of all gov seats of all states…So neet includes gov Seats.
And if ur state is completely participating in neet (no other state xams for mbbs nd bds) then
100% admission in gov nd pvt clg will be done on basis of NEET.

  30. I am andhra Pradesh student.I can write neet exam on july24. Is there any benefit. In our state they will fill private MBBS,BDS seats through neet/eamcet

    • I believe AP has not decided if they want to become part of NEET this year. Based on what they decide, you will have to go that route. In AP, some private seats will get filled through AP exam (if they decide to do so – these state filled seats has very nominal fee in private colleges)) and others by NEET.

  31. I m from mp . I m appearing for neet 2 .. is it only for private University or i can also get a government college..

    • There are 15% of all gov seats of all states…So neet includes gov Seats.
And if ur state is completely particapting in neet (no other state xams for mbbs nd bds).
100% admission in gov nd pvt clg will be done on basis of NEET.

      • Okk… thanks .. 🙂 mp dont conduct any state exams since 3 years.. so neet 2 is 85% state quota and 15% all india .

        • U r welcum 🙂
Nd no need to say thanks i am also appearing for NEET2.
U r lucky..MP is completely participating in NEET..
          Work hard nd
          Best of luck!!!!

  32. Whether the admission process for maharashtra students will be same as previous aipmt exam criteria, though this neet exam?Means whether they can get government mbbs colleges through neet?

    • For Maharashtra if CET is not cancelled… It will same as Aipmt i mean u r eligible for 15% seats of all gov colleges of Maharashtra through neet.
And if Mht cet is cancelled andu r domicile of Maharashtra then u r eligible for 85% of all seats.

    • Nobody will know for sure but much less than before, I would imagine between 350-400 will land you safely in some private colleges.

  33. Will the central board colleges fill their seats through neet. If so then gmc Mumbai comes in it or not…?

    • Through NEET u are elgibile for 15% of gov seats of Maharashtra..
In short GMC mumbai is included but only 15 % of its all seats.

  34. Sir I heard that the students qualifying neet phase 2 will be able to get seats only in private colleges, is it true? Also earlier they said that the medical Assam Cee will be held only for ayurved and homeopathy but now they are saying that it will be for the whole. If this was supposed to happen then why did they change their decision before the exam? This is just so unfair. It feels like they are playing some sort of games.

    • NEET 2 is for all states chosen not be exempt, most of the private college and deemed university seats and AIPMT quota seats. Looks like Assam CEE has deferred its exam and Assam will soon make a decision if they want to use NEET or conduct their own exam.
There are lot of players and vested interests in this game as life is full of games and plays.
Not sure where your interest lies but I explained above what is included in NEET as of now.

  35. I am domicile of Maharashtra..
and Maharashtra conducts its own exam MHT CET…
so i want to ask Under Aipmt can i get benefit by being domicile of Maharashtra or the cut off will be same as that for students of other states???

    • Now MHT CET is valid. If you want to take benefit of MHT CET, you should have appeared in that exam. AIPMT quota seat student does not have any domicile benefit, particularly when MHT CET is allowed to fill its own 85% quota seats this year.

  36. NEET-2 Exam syllabus is common to the cbse students or differ among the state board students, then what is the syllabus to be followed by all the candidates pls give the syllabus

      • i too scored 470 after checking answer keys in neet phase 1…i am from gen category, female, west bengal…i am also appearing for wbjee medical…will i be able to secure seat in medical college this year under neet or wbjee? please let me know…

    • i scored 470 in neet 1. I am from gen category west bengal. also applied for wbjee, will i get a seat in a medical college through neet?

  37. Hi, I have appeared in neet 1 at Kota (Rajasthan), now I want appear in neet 2 and want to change the examination center.

    • I think you should be able to choose all afresh, only thing will carry forward from NEET 1, is CBSE will ask your ID etc from NEET 1 and if you want to forgo your NEET1 score.

  38. Sir am getting 304 mark (obc cat )in NEET 1 can get seat in any medical college @??it may be in private or government college

  39. Students appearing in neet1 can they give neet2 and is there any chance of getting into army medical college through neet .
If students clearing neet1 and still giving neet2 bnd failing to appear in neet2 will be admitted
    plz reply fast …………..

    • Students appearing in neet1 can they give neet2 – YES

is there any chance of getting into army medical college through neet – YES, provided you clear AFMC cutoff and clear all their other test

If students clearing neet1 and still giving neet2 bnd failing to appear in neet2 will be admitted – No, once you fill the form for NEET2, you will forgo your NEET1 score, then must appear for NEET2. If you are not sure for NEET2, do not fill the form for NEET2, stick to NEET1.

  40. Sir, I got a score of 452 in NEET 1 and I’m from the general category. Now that the govt medical colleges are exempted from NEET this year, what are my chances of getting into a medical college? won’t there be approximately 27000 seats still left?

    • First not all state colleges are out, still about 12 states will participate in NEET. You have still have chance of getting into medical college depending on which other states, private colleges you applied.

  41. Sir,under sc,neet 1 marks 348, will I get an mbbs seat in govt college, all india or west bengal?. Shall I take part in neet 2?

  42. I had completed my intermediate studies in Telangana state.Am I eligible for All India 15% seats in NEET phase 2…?

    • If you did not fill the form for AIPMT originally, you will not likely be allowed for AIMPT seats. Same rule will apply for other folks who did not apply for state seats but while NEET 2 they want to apply, remember applying for a college dates are over. SC decision does not revive that process.

  43. Sir i hv got 502 marks in neet phase one.. i am from obc category. Should i give neet 2 or not ?? Must reply !!

    • You are in safe zone even for old AIPMT standards and of course in new NEET. Whether you should give NEET 2 is your own analysis. You should consider if you want to improve on your weaknesses, you have enthusiasm to put 100% effort, and you certainly want to improve for better college then yes else you can stick to your score.

  44. how will the admission process will be done on the basis of neet nerit list? will it be under state rank or all india rank? and will there be any place of state quota?

    • Since application process was not through common application, it is likely, that states or other colleges will ask CBSE to send them NEET score, related colleges as a group (state or Asso-CET, Manipal, or Comedk-K) do their own counseling in person or online.

The things will start unfurling as soon as CBSE publishes its new application for NEET 2.

        • Point is not deferring completely, they can certainly not do that. Center, however, can attempt to defer some of the state participation through re-request to SC or some other means.

  45. Sir if we get minimum…mark in NEET 1 whether we have chance to get seat in any medical colleges in all over india…@???

  46. Sir what should b the upper age limit for neet 2 becoz so many private n states cet has no upper age limits. I’m 26 now nd I qualified bcece screening tis year nd my mains papr is on 15th may nd my bad luck is I will not give xms for mbbs n bds due to neet 2 … Will I eligible for mbbs n bds tis year in neet 2?

    • Akash,

Most probably CBSE will remove age restriction, just for candidate to appear for NEET 2 as this NEET is to apply to many states with their own rules. NEET for other than AIPMT, is to take the most objective criteria for merit, other rules will apply from colleges of their own.

Still, keep a close eye on announcement from CBSE that is expected in about a week.

  47. Sir I have scored about 430 marks in neet 1 and my category is sc and iam from karnataka can I get govt colleges?

  48. hello sir,
am a general category student from telangana state board. As sc says for MBBS n BDS admissions we should write neet,my question is if i get qualified in the examination am i able to study in any college in india i mean not only telangana??
can i apply for the colleges in other state also?

    • I hope it’s 85% for state +15% for all india system. Your state rank will be considered for 85% state quota and all india rank will be considered for 15% all india quota. Reservation system remains unchanged. Still wait for the brochure to be published. You will be clear then.

    • Time has passed for re-selection. Although, you will be appearing for NEET 2, you can not be assured whether, they will consider you for AIPMT quota as dates for applying for colleges have passed. This new NEET score, will only be good for you, for the exams you originally applied.

I will be surprised if any college ask you to apply to them again based on NEET2. However, good luck can approach you any time as things are changing every day in new circumstances.

  49. 1.up to which rank student get selection in neet 2016
2.is the selection procedure of neet 2016 is same as neet 2013

    • It is expected for rank to fall even below NEET 2013 because seats are much more like TN was not in 2013. If you ever imagined what rank will get admission in any college, that can certainly be close to in six digits. That does not tell you much though. because there are so many criteria as other restrictions apply to many colleges.

Selection process could be different, my best guess is many colleges will follow 2013 procedure but private colleges will take NEET ranks but will do their own counseling…

Let us say I am not TN domicile, how does that matter to me. It does, if any student in 15% AIPMT TN domicile prefer 85% quota based on state rank, which is normally higher. This person will forego 15% seat and opt for 85% seat. That will benefit rankers even from other states.

  50. I think it should be best of 2. Because, you cannot say whether your next exam is going to be good or nor which is on totally different question. So now if one has got 480-500, he is damn confused whether to give the next phase by cancelling the one or not. They are in dilemma as the result and rank of such exams totally depends on the performances of others. What if a student with 490 in phase 1 gets 489 in phase 2 and losses the seat just for mere 1 mark which is quite possible in those exams. No one can say that he is not the right candidate to be a doctor. And most importantly most of the students giving the exam are less than 18 or nearly 18. So you can not ask anyone to play a gamble out of their lives. Many may lead to greater consequences from where there will be no turn back. So with due respect,I suggest best of 2 phases as the section criteria so that no injustice is done with any of the aspiring doctors.

  51. sir since bihar was not under aipmt totally that one cant get any option for state quota seats in bihar through aipmt now neet is taking ……..so clarify how a student get state quota seats in bihar

  52. Sir i will be appearing for medical in 2017 sir i wanted to know that approximately how many students will be appearing and about how much rank should i have to do to get into a good college?? Like cmc??

  53. In case if i appear for NEET phas2…do i need to register n fill up the form online again ?
Because i have already appeared for the NEET phase 1 …thank you

  54. Sir I expect a score of 359 and above. I am from unreserved category. Any chances of getting into government medical colleges?

  55. As we know that now state combined test are not going 2 entertain any more so the colleges and seats of those exams will come under which examination??

  56. Sir will aiims and jipmer now conduct their own medical exam? And as we all know that the top rankers of aipmt get top colleges of India especially Delhi colleges like maulana azad…safdurganj..etc.will neet phase 2 toppers will be provided the same colleges alike aipmt

    • This is just a logical analysis:

The upper age limit for admission under 15% of All India Quota is 25 years on December 31st of year of the exam.

However, since AIMPT 2016 is NEET1 and also NEET2 follows, CBSE should not restrict you to sit in the exam for higher age and that is upto college to decide.

  57. Sir/Mam.
I have given the NEET Phase-1 exam.If 1,00,000 qualify through the exam but the number of seats available are 52,000 which seats will the rest of the students get?

    • There are so many factors.
      For example,
I am a high ranker, and also got into AIIMS. I quit NEET. Other aspirant will get that seat.
I am 10000 ranker but not a domicile in certain states, my all seats got filled where I am eligible, I can not get admission anywhere as either I do not want to pay high fees in private college or am not eligible for a seat in the state it is available.
I could be eligible for a state, I am domicile at, I only filled for AIMPT as my choice. I will have to quit my claim if I did not get AIMPT quota seats.

I think it is clear. Please let me know.

    • Rahul, as you might have seen in the forum, about 50000 seats are under NEET but that does not tell you much. There are other restrictions like domicile, minority in some cases, fees in private colleges and on top of it, if you applied or not in those colleges where you could have been eligible.

    • I won’t, particularly huge increase in seats with NEET, a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.

If you play lottery and have won 25 lakhs, what will you do if given a chance to double it or lose / reduce it in next chance?

  58. Sir m scorng 412 in neet phase 1 . Is there any chance of getting a gov seat of mbbs anywhr in india. I hv domicile of jharkhand

  59. sir i am getting 409 marks in neet 1 and i belong to mp and my category is st. should i get a govt college ?

  60. What will be the seat allocation criteria ? Is that 15% by all India merit list ,85% By state merit list ? What about reservation criteria of state?

  61. 1. What is the procedure for counseling for MBBS seats in private medical colleges when selection is based on NEET?

    2. Will it be a centralized counseling or candidate will have to apply separately for private colleges under COMEDK, Maharashtra etc?

  62. Sir,
    I am getting 492 marks in Neet-1.
I am from General category and domicile of Uttar Pradesh, Sir Can I get a MBBS govt college. And sir should I seat in Neet – 2 or not

    • Raj, I answered this in other question.

If you go by any count from before, you will get in AIPMT 15% seats in new NEET (as expected for selection mark to fall based on new circumstances) and certainly within 85% quota seat from UP.

If you simply seek most likely guaranteed admission, you are there. If the you have fatigue, you may decrease score in NEET 2. If you think you want to and could do better, then you can take a chance. You already know you will have to forego your NEET 1 score for NEET 2.

  63. now the NEET is confirmed & all the state &private entrances are cancelled then who will give those entrance fees for which we applied ,i spend nearly 50,000/- on it ,what about our money ,who will pay us back no one will pay back ,now we have to spend another 1000/- on that neet , supreme court is saying that neet is more useful to reduce that entrance fees ,but this year it brings more burden on the students ,i got 149 in ap eamcet out of 160 and what about that

    • Hemanth,

149/160 is a good score. If I were you I should be more worried about NEET2 right now, that is only option you have left.

When you become a doctor, you will earn tonnes of these 50000.

      Good luck.

      • Mr Vinay, could you please suggest me whether a student with 493 should give phase 2 or not? He is willing for a govt mbbs seat in wb. Please reply soon.

        • If you go by any count from before, you will get in AIPMT 15% seats in new NEET (as expected for selection mark to fall based on new circumstances) and certainly within 85% quota seat from WB.

If you simply seek most likely guaranteed admission, you are there. If the candidate has fatigue, he / she will decrease score in NEET 2. If candidate thinks he / she wants to and could do better, then you can take a chance. You already know you will have to forego your NEET 1 score for NEET 2.

    • This is according to AIPMT: In respect of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Bio – technology taken together in qualifying examination shall be 40% marks. However, this could change as NEET2 is opening for many more states which might have lower criteria.

  64. Sir , my registration is done in DEC. Month of aipmt &I pay my fees.but due to some reasons I can’t take my confirmation page. That’s why my roll no.admit card is not issued .I cannot give the NEET 1. I wanna ask you that may I able to give phase 2 NEET or not. ??

  65. Seat allotment for west Bengal in neet-2 and the total amount needed to get a seat in private medical college through neet-2

  66. i am getting around 421 marks is neet 1 can i get private college in madhya pradesh or haryana lr karnataka or tamil nadu or haryand from.this score without donation

    • All different. Fee structure varies from a few thousand annually in a government college to lakhs of rupees in private colleges.

  67. SIR ,
Please want to know about neet seat and about fee structure. if i get 420 marks chance to get admission in any college with out donation.

    • If NEET happens..then the cut off would surely decrease..I m not sure for a MBBS seat if u r a general category student bt u can get a bds seat..keep ur fingers crossed..:)

  68. Sir I got 330 marks in neet, will I have any chance to get mbbs seat in any govt or pvt college in India . Whether we have to approach different colleges or it will be the duty of cbse to

  69. I think NEET 2016 is well accepted as every student gets equal chance for further studies . i hope everyone should support the supreme court for such a decision .. Lets hope for the best ..

  70. what is the status of JIPMER and AIIMS, will they conduct the test. as on today AIIMS website does not show any different updates and the admit cards scheduled to be downloaded on 5th May

  71. Can students of pseb board gave neet 2016 exam and if we don’t gave the test of may can we are able to gave test of july nd can I fill onln form of neet now

  72. Sir I m getting 529 marks in neet..i m a general category student..can I get admission in Delhi..plz reply sir..

    • Yukta,

You have a chance. If current decision on NEET stands, you will get lower selection marks for every area (state). Take a scenario, I applied for AIPMT and also for in Manipal. I have a good rank in AIPMT, poor rank in Manipal. Now with NEET, I would be able to go to Manipal in “schol” seat, I would go there, leave a seat in AIPMT. Last year, 875 seats were given back to states. If that is properly managed, folks will get choice seats for much less marks than before. However, all these are in limbo, keep your fingers crossed. Many other seats added will reduce selection marks in each region.

  73. Sir i am getting 484 marks in neet, my category is general and i m a resident of bihar…….. Is there any scope for me to get mbbs at a govt college or affordable private college 3-5 lacs per anum ………. Please help me out of this dilemma….

    • 1.up to which rank student get selection in neet 2016
2.is the selection procedure of neet 2016 is same as neet 2013

    • Nobody knows what marks will get you selected at this time. If you see a closest NEET 2013, you can imagine you could get selected with that score. NEET 2016 has many more seats like thousands, and based on what else you have applied for you could be selected. For example, you have applied for AIPMT colleges and also IP, Delhi. You may not get AIPMT quota seats but may get in other state seats or private college seats.

  74. That is eligibility neet phase 2 we can give of 24 july .please allow us we have not got enough time

  75. hi sir,
my score in aipmt 2016 is 520/720 i’m from bihar. i completed my +2 from rajasthan. my aipmt card shows state eligibility in rajasthan too. can i get a gov. college
    Thank you

      • As said by Supreme Court and CBSE, leaving the state quota all the remaining seats in private medical colleges and deemed universities MBBS/BDS seats will be filled through NEET-2016.

  76. Aiims, jipmer, cmc pudduchery,Ludhiana, bhu ,amu etc,are central institute and have their own law and regulation in mci clauses ,so they are autonomous bodies so are not under cover of this neet exam they are exempted from neet .thus they will conduct their own exam

    • This information needs modification. BHU was part of AIPMT already, so should be part of NEET. CMC Vellore opposed the decision so should be part of NEET as well. More likely AIIMS, and JIPMER will be able to conduct their own exams.

  77. What’s the benefit of NEET?
What will happen to entrance exam fee which we have already paid?
    Which collages come under meet
Those students who will appear in 24july exam get more time which is truly unfair…

    • AIIMS and JIPMER are independent bodies which does not come under CBSE/MHRD. Therefore those exams will be held as per the dates scheduled.

  78. 1). Is NEET covers AIIMS also ?
2). Is seat allotment will directly by CBSE or NEET or we have to registered in various collages/ organization such like IP/AIIMS/ Faculty of Medical Sciences or other like this?
3). What will happen about entrance fees which already submitted in different collages or institutions?
4). what will fee structure for eligible candidates through NEET in all collages or institutions?

  79. Is any states are exempted from neet 1 & neet 2 ? like Andra, Telangana, Maharastra?. If not why these states are conducting APeamcet and MHTCET as scheduled?
    Plz reply.

  80. students writing on july 24 will get more time to prepare for the test than those writing on may 1 st . and definitly the question paper for these two batches cannot be the same .
    isnt this injustice

  81. hello sir, if i have applied for exam on 1st may and doesn’t appear, will I be able to apply for next exam on 24 july ?

    • Hi SURAJ CHINCHOLKAR

Currently CBSE not issued any guideline or Information for eligibility of July 2016 exams, But as per my best knowledge if you can apply for may 2016 exams then you are not able to apply for July 2016 Exam. We provide more information about eligibility criteria after getting official information from CBSE, Keep visit to our site for more latest updates…..

    • Hi chetan pachouri

  82. I have registered in AIPMT(NEET-1) but I don’t wanna do an exam of AIPMT(NEET-1 exam).so is it possible to registered in NEET-2 examination??if yes then whats a procedure for it??
    Satyam patel
    9723274295

  83. What if want to apply for the 24 July test …but have already given 1 may exam…will we not be able to apply even if want to???
Will comedk be conducted or not???

  84. I have registered for aipmt but if I don’t appear in the 1st May exam then will I be able to give the second phase exam

    • the decision is laudable the original aimpt exam was for limited no of all india seats now that scope has been enlarged dramatically to cover all medical seats students appearing for may 1 eaxms are put to disadvantageous position as those who have not appeared have lot of time for preparations how this anomaly will be set right
